Before
This young teen was using a room that needed painting and furnishing. The well used mattress on the floor and other items seen here were being stored from his mother’s room. Aside from a new bed, this young man requested a desk.
After
We refreshed the walls with a nice taupe shade, complemented by our “go to” crisp white for the trim. For this tall teen we brought in a twin new XL box spring and mattress, topped with new linens and pillow. The soft velour throw, toss cushion and drapery panel were all purchased in orange, his favourite colour.
We gave him a new orange and grey bath towel to hang on the back of his door. It is beautifully embroidered with his initials and a picture of his favourite activity. We also purchased various school supplies, a toiletry kit and a copy of the 2024 Guines Book of World Records.
In addition, we had sourced a bed frame and headboard, a desk and chair, a dresser and lamp and a wall mirror. Unfortunately, when we arrived with our vehicles full, the parent refused these items because they were not brand new.
