This girl was sleeping on a bed with broken support slats and an old mattress. Being a middle school student, she also really needed a desk.

After
We painted this room a soft mauve colour with white ceiling and trim, installed a new entry door and a white ceiling fixture. The young resident had a three drawer dresser that was much more effective once we maximized closet use with lots of hangers. Since we finished this room, she persuaded her mom to buy some white paint and is painting her dresser to match the other furniture.
