This young teen moved with his parents into a bright, sunny apartment. But they soon realized there were bed bugs! All soft furnishings had to be thrown out.
Before
This bedroom had lots of clothing and school supplies. The only furniture was the boy’s well stocked bookcase.
After
We brought in a bed frame and solid wood headboard, then added a new box spring and mattress. We topped them with new, coordinated linens, pillows and a comforter.
This old, dark wood dresser was solid but the veneer needed repair. It was fixed with wood glue and clamps. Then sanding, priming and painting gave it a new life. The old handles were charming but the finish was not. Brushed nickle spray paint revived them. The wooden lamp was a handmade donation and just needed a new shade.
