Before
Two brothers, 8 and 15, shared this bedroom. One slept in part of an old bunk bed and the other slept on the floor. Their mattresses were old and they were trying to use an old dresser as a computer desk.
A lack of hangers meant the closet did not store much clothing and what they owned was not visible.

After
The boys’ mother bought them a new bunk bed and a desk. We repaired holes in the drywall and added a fresh coat of paint, new drapery, lighting, mattresses and bedding.
A vintage chest of drawers took much less floor space so they had room for the computer desk. Both boys are fond of red so we used it as accents wherever we could.
